Commercial Custom Seating and Upholstery, Inc. is very pleased with the service we’ve received over the years from Bender Insurance Solutions. Through Bender, we learned about and participated in a Group Captive Insurance Program, which has yielded additional financial and other value-added benefits. As an ESOP company, CCS is always looking for ways to add value to our operations and cut costs. Bender Insurance Solutions has been a responsive partner in assessing our needs, providing semi-annual reviews and feedback on our policies to best accommodate our changing needs, and helping CCS obtain competitive insurance rates. With Bender and the Garnet Captive program, CCS has benefitted from the annual inspections, educational information, and dedicated management team provided to CCS – in turn, helping us to lower our experience mods, reduce letter of credit requirements, and enhance our safety programs. This past year, we also received a large dividend from our participation in the Garnet Captive program reflecting the positive performance of the group.

We started looking at the Captive initially because we were tired of not having many resources available to enhance our safety at our facilities. We did not have a poor safety record, but we didn’t understand exactly how mod ratings worked, nor what we could really do to influence those scores. The Captive helped us change all of that. When we started, the Captive was not actually less expensive for us than the open market, but after becoming involved and being able to utilize the resources available, it has now become substantially less expensive while providing a greater overall value at the same time. We appreciate Bender Insurance Solutions introducing us to the Captive and really explaining how the program worked. They’ve been a valued partner in this endeavor, and we hope to continue that partnership into the future!

They’re communication is excellent, they always respond quickly to any questions or needa that arise, and I trust them to provide us with adequate and affordable coverage.
